Description
Design
This insulated coffee cup features the humorous phrase "Ph.D. in progress" styled like a progress bar, making it instantly relatable for students working toward their doctorate.
The design mimics a slowly filling loading bar, symbolizing the long journey of research, study, writing, and late-night caffeine sessions that come with pursuing a Ph.D. The clean white text contrasts sharply against the dark mug, creating a minimalist yet clever visual that stands out whether you're using it in a lab, library, office, or classroom.
The humor behind this design resonates with graduate students and academics who understand that earning a Ph.D. is a marathon, not a sprint. The progress bar adds a playful twist that acknowledges the ongoing effort required to reach that final milestone.
It's a lighthearted way to embrace the challenges of academic life while reminding everyone that progress—no matter how slow—is still progress.
Whether it’s used during long research sessions, early-morning lectures, or late-night dissertation writing, this mug is the perfect companion for anyone deep in the doctoral journey. It’s both motivational and funny, making it a great conversation starter among fellow students, professors, and researchers.
Perfect Gift For
- Ph.D. students during their doctoral program or dissertation writing phase
- Graduate students on birthdays, holidays, or academic milestones
- Future doctors and researchers as a motivational gift before graduation
